Powhatan Equine Rescue League was established in March of 2014. Located in Powhatan VA we work with area animal controls, help horses from auction and take owner surrenders. Depending on each horses individual needs we aid in their recovery whether it be refeeding and helping them to gain back weight or just regaining their trust. We give each horse a safe place for them to live until they are adopted into their forever home
