In March of 2017 Baby Bluebonnet Equine Rescue started with a little paint colt from a Texas kill pen . . .
We quickly realized that many young horses were being disposed of in some very horrible ways. Having been blessed with prior experience in bringing up youngsters, we truly believe that we can make a difference.
Here at Baby Bluebonnet Equine Rescue our mission is to rescue these animals from life threatening situations. In addition to rescue, we rehabilitate and re-home these loving babies. But, that is not all we do . . . we provide quarantine, medical care and loving hands on training prior to any babies being rehomed. We enrich their lives in hopes that once rehomed their worth will never be forgotten.
