Little Boy Blue
2012 Grey 14.3h Grade Pony Gelding

"Blue" transferred to Lollypop Farm with one of his herd mates from Finger Lakes SPCA in 2019 after their owner was not providing sufficient care for them. We do not know the extent of any past training he may have had. Blue was in very poor body condition when he arrived, and spent the first several months regaining his health. He is UTD on trims, dental work, deworming, and vet care. Blue has started training and is progressing with his ground work. He will begin under saddle work soon. Blue does have a scar from what appears to be an old wire injury to his left hind, but does not affect the way he moves. Blue is very dominant in turnout with other geldings. He would be a nice project for somebody to make into an all-around horse, but does need an experienced trainer or horse person to finish his training. Since he was not fed much for several years at his past home, he can get an attitude around food.
