Sweet Potato, aka "Spud", is a 4-year-old Mule gelding. He is a cross between a Welsh Cob/Percheron and a Donkey. Spud came to Lollypop when his owner's no longer had the time to train him.

Spud has a curious, and sweet personality. He is also an easy keeper. Spud is UTD on deworming, vaccines, dentals, and trims. He gets along well with other horses.

Spud came to us with very bad behavior, as he was not worked with in the past 2 years. Spud is not broken under saddle, and will need a very experienced mule handler. He needs continued work on leading, grooming, standing for the farrier, and working with the vet (especially with needles). He has the potential to make a nice partner for somebody with confident, routine work. We have been using some Clicker Training with him.

Suitable for an Trainer with experience with mules only.
