Banana Manzana

Hanna came to us as an owner surender under very dier curcumstances. I do not have alot of information on this sweet 14yr old. We can tell she has had someone spend time training her. She has amazing ground respect and tries very hard to please. Extremely well focused. Now riding that is the challenge.... You can ride her bare back at a W/T/C with just a halter and reins, She gets very nervous when saddling. I have seen facebook pictures of her being ridden. I personally have ridden her under saddle and I have had my volunteers on her. But it is a very lenghty process and the barn needs to be somewhat quite during that process. She has a white mark on her withers which I believe came from some sort of injury. She has been with us for 3 yrs. when we first got her you couldn't even run your hand along her girth line. We have concured that 'Thank you flies". Now she is so much better we can put a blanket on without her losing her mind. We can get a saddle on her but it needs to be done slowly and with lots of praise. She will stand in the cross ties but she is nervous about it, I usually only clip one of them. I think she may have gotten caught on something while under saddle or even had some kind of accident while cross tied while she had the saddle on. She stands better if I saddle her in my areana, but even then she is nervous. Once she is girthed up I lunge her to work out the nerves and let her get use to it and then getting on her is fine. She stops on a dime and is very very soft mouth. We only use a halter here. She is the most amazing kindest horse that suffered something very tramatic I believe, If she trusts you she will follow you like a dog all over the pasture, She will stand ground tied for hours next to you and fall asleep. She is UTD on all shots. She will need a goggins if she leaves. She stands for the vet and the farrier.... She is nervous but she will stand. When she came here she loaded fine but she was also starving and there was a bail of hay waiting on the traler so... thats the only time I had her on but with as much work that has gone into her traning wise from someone who cared I would like to think she would load ok. I would love to find someone that would take the time to get to know this girl. In the one picture we had her in a english saddle just to see if she would tolarate that type instead of the western. She neck reins so we went back to western. She is so special. Unfortunatly due to her insecurities we can not use her in our riding program.
