Sweet Potato

Sweet Potato, aka "Spud", is a 4-year-old Mule gelding. He is a cross between a Welsh Cob/Percheron and a Donkey. Spud came to Lollypop when his owner's no longer had the time to train him. Spud has a curious personality. He is also an easy keeper. Spud is UTD on deworming, vaccines, dentals, and trims.

Spud came to us with very bad behavior as he was not worked with in the past 2 years. Spud is not broken under saddle, and will need a very experienced mule handler. He needs continued work on haltering, leading, grooming, standing for the farrier, and working with the vet (especially with needles). He has the potential to make a nice partner for somebody with confident, routine work.

Suitable for a Trainer experienced with Mules.
