June might be small, but her hilarious personality makes her one of the biggest mares in the herd! This spunky mini has quickly become a visitor favorite here. She is easy to handle, easy to take care of, and easy to love. June spent the last year of her life being doted on by her adopter, and small children, and has blossomed with their care. She's only back at Lollypop as she was showing some signs of founder, and her home only had large green pastures that even a grazing muzzle wasn't helping. She had xrays done, and shows extremely minor changes in 1 hoof, but our vets still advise she be turned out on a dry lot, or a minimal grass pasture only. She does have a thickened tendon on one of her front legs, so she's destined to be a pasture pal only. June would make a great family horse to teach kids about horse care, and a companion for horses big or small....she's used to both. If you're looking for a fun mare who will keep you laughing, June is your girl!
