Looking for a flash of color in your barn? Dakota's coloring is pretty stunning! This handsome gelding was returned to Lollypop Farm after being adopted 6yrs ago due unforseen changes in his families life. Dakota was previously a trail horse in his younger years, and is well trained under saddle. He both direct & neck-reins. He's way more whoa than go, and would make a great trail or pleasure riding mount again. He's just started back into work after having time off since Fall '21, and picked things up nearly right away. Dakota may be early 20's, but you'd never guess it. He's an easy keeper, and UTD on everything.

Dakota's one quirk is he is very smart and stubborn. He can be pushy, and will test out your handling skills. Dakota needs a family who will love him, but also not let him get away with his pushiness. He behaves well for people who are confident handlers.

Suitable for Intermediate Rider with confident horse handling skills.
