DNA...It can reveal a lot. Sometimes it leaves you with more questions...like who came up with that?

Our sweet little Louise who stood in a dark broker pen with her buddy Thelma, both swearing to be Morgans, both 12yrs plus. Well as we know Thelma did DNA to be a Morgan. Louise however did not. She also was only 4yrs old and had some issues coming around to the idea of people so she was put in foster with a person capable of taking her to a level where she is now adoptable.

Curious though, we wanted to know more about Louise and her breeding. She could have had Morgan in her but her parents were not registered and that is why the registry DNA did not work. So we sent hair off to Texas A & M for a breed analysis. Well the results came in yesterday and we are still blown away!

Louise is first a Quarter Horse, crossed with Hanoverian and Lipizzaner!Those were the results! So hopefully now she will be able to find her right person. One who understands the breeds quirks and the combination of such personalities. The goal is always to give them the best opportunity to find the right person. Louise is the Right Horse for someone! She is ready to transition to a new partner.
