Elusive Story

Hello tall, dark, and handsome! Elusive Story is a beautiful OTTB gelding looking for a home with lots of love to give him. A former racehorse & stallion who sired 3 foals, he now prefers the slow lane & is much happier gelded. Story has good ground manners, and is great for the vet & farrier. This guy had training after the track, but life circumstances changed, and he ended up in a bad situation. He has spent the past year with us recovering from neglect, and some of his trust in people appeared to be lost when it came to work. Story spent a month at our trainers, and once he realized people are good, his training all came back to him. Story is very quiet and slow moving. He doesn’t spook easily, and has had kids ride him. Story has a very soft mouth, and doesn’t like a lot of hands on his face; he prefers a hackamore. He has started work riding outside the arena, and is doing fantastic. He really isn’t happy doing hard arena work or jumping, so a more leisurely life is preferred. Story would be a great trail horse, or pleasure mount!
